cheap swedish fashion for all!

isn't that one of our inalienable rights? or at least it should be. and now, after years of bitching about not having H&M in LA, it seems the swedes have come to their senses and are opening not one, but two stores by fall. even tho the beverly center scares me, and I've been to pasadena maybe, um, twice, this might lure me over.

I live in Pasadena and I assure you it's perfectly safe. :-)

Oh, and did you find their site as user unfriendly as I did? So slow. And rather than letting me decide where I want to go it seems to decide for me.

I'm guessing your lack of trips to Pasadena has more to do with distance. May I suggest taking the Gold Line train there?

I actually find pasadena kind of charming but I've only gone there a couple of times to meet with yahoo. but if we add south pas into the equation, then I've been to pasadena quite a bit since my partner is in south pas. I just don't find a lot of reasons to head into old town.

Pasadena is rather more than Old Towsn. But I udnerstand why it's scary for people--WASPs, old money. So not Venice.

First came Ikea, and now comes H&M. These two stores can fuel arguments for banning Swedes from participating in design.

I would almost fly to San Fran just for an H&M fix. Pasadena is perfect, it's the Beverly Center that scares me!
