nytimes home section: back to LA
I love it when the nytimes comes to LA for its "currents" feature in the house and garden section. if you needed any futher proof venice is no longer a cheap, hippie enclave, simply check out the interior of Strange Invisible Perfumes (sounds a little like a japanese pop band), a (duh) perfume store on abbott kinney. and no LA-based design feature would be complete without some skateboards.
