The trade pub nation's restaurant news covers the upcoming academy awards and what it means for local high-end restaurants. in a nutshell - aside from the media publicity and exposure to celebrity clients, it means serious cash. typical restaurant margins on a regular night - less than 10%. for event catering - 35%.registration required. but its a fun read, even if you dont work in the food biz.
